Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment. Working collaboratively with other functions from design through construction to commissioning you will support teams to discharge their roles under CDM Regulations and assist in the early identification and mitigation of risk strategies. Review RAMS, Lift Plans, CPPs including those of sub-contractors and regularly inspect work locations, carrying out site inspections, audits, competency checks and incident investigations. Participate in site/project meetings, supporting operational teams. Assisting project delivery teams in preparing and reviewing site documentation, CPPs, RAMS, COSHH Assessments etc. You will support teams providing advice and guidance, and assist in the development and delivery of inductions, toolbox talks and & safety briefings. Assist the SHEW manager with collation, analysis of HSE performance data, reports, identify trends, propose improvements, and contribute to reviews. You will have the opportunity to suggest, communicate and promote improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and different ways of working, together with monitoring compliance with both MGroup and our clients requirements. Previous experience as a Health & Safety Advisor in a construction environment (Utilities, EUSR and SHEA Water experience preferable). Be proactive and solutions-focused, Detail-oriented with the ability to influence others, Confident in challenging unsafe behaviours and supporting culture change, Able to work independently and as part of a team. Computer literate using Microsoft, Excel, Teams and other applicable HSE and client systems. NEBOSH with appropriate Construction Skills Card and Streetworks. Experience supporting Principal Designer and Principal Contractor responsibilities and duties as required by CDM regulations.
