Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we are supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. You'll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK's number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?

  • Operate and drive an HGV gully cleansing vehicle safely and efficiently to various work locations.
  • Use high-pressure water jetting equipment to clear blockages and remove debris from drainage and gully systems.
  • Accurately record job information, inspections, and completed works using a handheld tablet or digital reporting system.
  • Clean, maintain, and restore gully and drainage systems to ensure they function effectively and prevent flooding.
  • Consistently achieve performance benchmarks, service standards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) while maintaining high levels of safety and quality.

What you'll bring:

  • Clean driving License
  • A commitment to Health and Safety
  • Ability to undertake a high level of manual work and work outdoors in all weathers.
  • HGV / LGV Class C driving licence
  • CSCS Card
  • Desirable: Vactor or gully wagon experience
  • High pressure jetting and gully emptying qualification.
  • Highways experience
  • New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation
  • Lantra 12d
