We provide trusted field data collection services to energy suppliers, network operators and utility providers, delivering accurate asset, consumption and customer data that supports regulatory compliance, operational performance and strategic decision-making.

In Home Smart Metering

We deliver smart metering services at scale, helping customers benefit from the latest energy technologies through safe, efficient and high-quality smart meter installations, exchanges and maintenance services.

In Home Data Insights

We transform energy and customer data into actionable insights, enabling smarter decisions, improved operational efficiency, enhanced customer outcomes and support for the transition to a low-carbon future.

In Home Decarbonisation

We’re working to eliminate fuel poverty, providing end-to-end management in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Our team works closely with homeowners and local authority partners to provide home energy advice to prepare for Net Zero.

Ideally this role would be based in Newcastle however there is flexibility to be home based for the right candidate.

What will you be doing?

The Pricing Manager plays a critical role in shaping Energy In Home's commercial success by leading the development and implementation of pricing strategies aligned to growth ambitions, profitability targets and operational delivery requirements. Working closely with Sales & Strategy, Finance, Bid Management and Operational teams, you will ensure pricing approaches are robust, competitive and commercially sustainable.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong commercial leadership, analytical capability and stakeholder management skills. You will provide pricing governance, commercial modelling, benchmarking and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making, while ensuring pricing assumptions are regularly validated against actual business performance.

The successful candidate will operate with authority across bids, contract performance, delivery and commercial risk, acting as the commercial lead where required and driving continuous improvement in pricing disciplines across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of pricing strategies across Energy In Home.
  • Own and maintain pricing models, methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Support strategic bids and tenders by developing commercially robust pricing solutions.
  • Deliver financial modelling, benchmarking and sensitivity analysis to support business decisions.
  • Work closely with Finance to reconcile bid assumptions against operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide forecasting, trend analysis and commercial insight to strengthen business performance.
  • Challenge costs, assumptions and risks to ensure competitive and profitable submissions.
  • Build strong partnerships with Sales, Operations, Finance and Bid teams to align commercial and operational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance margin performance and commercial value.
  • Support contract reviews, re-pricing exercises and strategic growth initiatives.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience of working within the infrastructure or utilities industry.
  • Proven track record in pricing management, commercial modelling, or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of commercial drivers, margin management and competitive positioning.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Experience collaborating with bid, business development and finance teams.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement and competitive bidding.
  • High level of discipline in value reconciliation and cost validation.
