Where you'll be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We're problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

What you'll be doing?

  • You'll be taking responsibility for all plant and equipment, ensuring everything is used, maintained, and managed safely and effectively.
  • You'll be setting clear health and safety standards and making sure they are consistently followed across all activities.
  • We'll need you to be actively applying safe-digging techniques and best practices to protect people, assets, and the surrounding environment.
  • You'll be carrying out R/M activities while strictly adhering to water-quality standards and operational requirements whilst working as part of a team, contributing to a positive, collaborative, and productive working environment.
  • You'll be using strong customer-service skills to communicate professionally and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.

What you'll bring?

  • Do you hold a full clean UK driving license?
  • Have you got proven knowledge of street works and the code of practice?
  • Do you have a good understanding of how to read utility plans and have experience of excavating in the highway?
  • Do you have proven experience of working in the water industry on a R/M contract?
