We're recruiting a Design Engineer with expertise in OHL (Overhead Lines) for our Energy Division. This role is hybrid to our Nottingham office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret project requirements and develop engineering solutions that meet applicable standards.
- Produce design calculations, drawings, reports, specifications and supporting documentation.
- Carry out site visits, inspections, surveys and assessments to gather design information.
- Record site data accurately and identify risks, constraints or opportunities relevant to design development.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams including engineers, technicians, project managers, planners and delivery teams.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders and third parties to resolve design queries and obtain required information.
- Ensure coordinated design outputs across all related disciplines.
- Follow internal design procedures, quality standards and assurance requirements.
- Maintain accurate design records, version control and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement or innovation in design processes.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- Ability to use PLS CADD and Tower software.
