This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, which supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.
You will be accountable for the overall management of the depot, taking primary responsibility for the safety, security, and environmental performance of the site, including the building, yard, employees, visitors, contractors, and office staff.
- Workshop supervision - day to day activity management of technician productivity & efficiency
- Raise POs manage & organize cost effective, quality solutions for M Group
- VOR Control - ensure asset availability is maximized by maintaining low VOR through a key focused reviewing regularly across multiple departments
Engineering qualification (likely to be gained in a Construction Plant environment, City & Guilds or NVQ preferred) achieved through a recognised formal training programme. Ability to analyse data and produce detailed counter measures to close performance gaps and provide high asset compliance.
