What you'll be doing:

Based in the Rochdale office you will report to a Project Manager. Your primary roles and responsibilities include:

  • Providing engineering support across a diverse portfolio of projects, covering safety, project control, procurement, site management, and quality assurance.
  • Working closely with Project and Site Managers, developing and monitoring programmes, controlling costs, procuring subcontractors and materials, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required standards.
  • Supporting the implementation of health and safety procedures, quality plans, risk assessments, and site audits, while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Proactive problem-solving, effective stakeholder communication, and a commitment to achieving excellence in project delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum HNC qualified in Construction related Management.
  • Trained to a minimum standard of IoSH Managing Safely.
  • Experience in delivering projects in your core skill; experience in the delivery of turnkey projects is also required.
  • Able to understand design principles and carry out design associated with minor changes.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets is preferred, particularly in the construction of laboratories and cleanrooms.
  • Fully conversant with CDM regulations and able to operate at senior level in fulfilling the role of principal contractor.
