Your principal duty is to provide support to all the businesses and contracts within the energy division at M Group. Ensuring all staff that work or operate on or near the various electricity networks conduct themselves in accordance with the companies and Client safety procedures to maintain Safety from the System and return home each day safely.

MGroup Energy Division are a national business and travelling throughout the UK with up to several nights away is an integral part of the role (Car benefit included). A full UK driving licence is required for this role. The Energy Division Electrical Safety Compliance Advisor reports to the Divisional Electrical Safety Manager.

  • Management of the safety passport scheme supporting contracts in the completion of technical audits on operatives.
  • Acting as the assessing officer on a wide range of electrical civil disciplines:
  • Electrical fitting (Essential)
  • Commissioning engineers (Essential)
  • Support the wider business interest including business opportunities.
  • Develop and implement in association with other personnel electronic field records.
  • Complete electrical assurance audits on a variety of sites from DNOs to smart metering.
  • Support contracts with the delivery of NERS contestable work through advice and coaching.
  • NEBOSH General or Construction certificate required. Full driving licence and willingness to travel. Ability to manage potential conflict during site inspections with operational teams.
