Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

As a Civil Operative you’ll be part of our construction team working with a Ganger who is responsible for Contract Support. You’ll be working on the IOS contract for Anglian Water, supporting the operations and completing civil installations in the Anglian Water Region. You’ll set up and maintain a safe site along with handling any excavations. We’ll need you to handle the shuttering for concrete pours and steelwork for any concrete structures. You’ll be handling pipework, DI, Electrofusion and butt welding. You’ll manage plant and site materials along with a variety of other activities to support the contract.

What you’ll bring

  • Do you have a NRWSRA and Streetworks accreditation?
  • Do you hold a 10t Dumper NPORS or equivalent?
  • Have you got a Clean water hygiene card? This is desirable.
  • Do you hold a valid UK driving license?
  • Are you First Aid trained? This is desirable.
  • Are you Cat & Genny trained?
