This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
As our Temporary Works Manager you’ll be working on our Anglian Water Contract in the Anglian Water region. You’ll oversee a project from initiation to completion, taking full responsibility for all aspects of temporary works planning. Conducting Category 1 and Categories 2 and 3 checks on the temporary works for our Anglian Water client, as well as their subcontractors’ sites. You’ll assist the development of Category 0 Standard Solutions in collaboration with the Temporary Works and Design teams across the water division. Conduct regular reviews of Anglian Water procedures and processes to ensure compliance with legal requirements and adopt the latest industry best practices. You’ll be undertaking delegated activities from the C-DI to ensure Workbook One (Appointments) and Workbook Two (Project Registers) provide a consistent approach across the north and water division. Be an active team member of the water division Temporary Works Working Group and drive best practices across the water division. Preparing and checking a variety of temporary works designs. Assisting with associated Anglian Water permits and third-party requirements. You’ll be providing technical support and advice to the Design and Delivery teams. Undertaking temporary works audits in line with MGroup Water quality procedures and BS5975:2024 requirements.
