Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What will you be doing? You’ll undertake high quality electrical installation, repairs and maintenance work in accordance with current regulations and legislation along with finding faults and diagnostic work as required to repair and maintain electrical installation. We’ll need you to make sure that all relevant documentation is processed and systems are completed in a timely manner and carry out inspection and testing on existing installations, as work progresses and on completed work recording results and completing appropriate test certification. You’ll also carry out visual inspections of all tools, equipment and where appropriate vehicles ensuring they work correctly, reporting any defects.
What you’ll bring: Do you hold any relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 & 2, 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations)? This is required for the role. Do you hold an AM2 qualification and Inspection and testing 2391? Due to the nature of this role proven work experience within the water industry is required. Do you hold the appropriate CSCS card?
