Where will you be working? We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.
What will you be doing? As our Desktop Support you'll be part of our Operations Team and will support administrative duties to help maintain the smooth running of the day-to-day functions required to deliver this project, while learning the functions of a Supervisor. You'll work with the managers and supervisors across the Plumbing department to improve productivity, compliance, safety and overall performance. We'll need you to engage with the client and M Group Water Services back-office teams to ensure a seamless delivery of operational excellence and ensure completion of site audits as well as ensuring plant and equipment is safe. You'll handle all customer issues in accordance with the IMPACT protocol and respond to the Escalations team in accordance with the prescribed timescales whilst ensuring compliance with all aspects of the Thames Water Smart Metering Asset Standard.
