Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges - we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes. This role requirement for a Scheme Agent will be working predominantly in Surface treatment team within Hampshire.
What will you be doing? Do you like the idea of joining an environmental team of around 30 people, working on carbon ambitions and implementing an Environmental Management System? Are you comfortable developing and monitoring environmental, carbon, biodiversity and waste-management plans? Would you enjoy meeting with clients and regulators to obtain legal consents and ensure compliance with environmental licences? Do you like creating reports, supporting teams with sustainable practices, and introducing innovation and training? Are you confident leading investigations and conducting audits of projects and supply chains?
What you’ll bring:
- Valid UK driving license
- Degree level in appropriate environmental discipline or relevant qualifications
- Environmental experience in Highways or similar sector
