Youll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UKs number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
You'll be working within our Plant & Fleet team, supporting workshop operations in Devon. This is a varied role where you'll work closely with Workshop Managers, Technicians, Suppliers and our Finance team to ensure the smooth running of workshop administration and financial processes.
You'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the workshop, helping to maintain accurate financial records, process invoices, manage supplier accounts and provide essential administrative support across the business.

What will you be doing?
As an Accounts Assistant, you'll provide comprehensive administrative and accounting support to our workshop operation, ensuring financial processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Process employee timesheets and accurately allocate hours to the correct jobs using internal systems.
- Maintain records relating to leave, absence and sickness, ensuring employee data remains up to date.
- Set up new employees on company systems and maintain personnel records.
- Process supplier invoices and allocate costs to the appropriate jobs and accounts.
- Prepare supplier payments and reconcile supplier statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. xgikmsk
