Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.
What will you be doing?
Role Purpose: Lead a regional team of Field Managers to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, setting expectations, managing performance, and supporting career growth.
- Own workforce planning, ensuring skills, capacity, and training align with demand.
- Oversee delivery of planned and reactive works, managing productivity, utilisation, resources, job updates, and bid support.
- Drive a strong safety culture through audits, compliance, accreditation, and duty of care.
- Manage assets and fleet, ensuring maintenance, compliance, and issue resolution.
- Own regional KPIs for cost, quality, and efficiency, leading audits and continuous improvement.
- Engage key stakeholders, supporting planning, operational readiness, customer requirements, and business initiatives.
What you’ll bring?
- Results-driven with strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced in managing field operations within fast-paced engineering or infrastructure environments, ideally telecoms or utilities, with exposure to installation, testing, and handover.
- Commercially aware with strong planning, resource management, and IT skills.
- Holds relevant technical qualifications (project management desirable).
- Demonstrates responsibility, excellence, innovation, collaboration, and ambition, delivering safely, continuously improving, and embracing change to achieve high-quality outcomes.
