Home Decarbonisation - We’re working to eliminate fuel poverty, providing end-to-end management in energy efficiency and carbon reduction. Our team works closely with homeowners and local authority partners to provide home energy advice to prepare for Net Zero.

This is a home-based role but there will be a requirement for some travel to our offices in Bury St Edmunds, Aylesbury and elsewhere across Britain. As a Bid Writer, you’ll help shape and secure the programmes that transform homes and support the UK’s transition to low-carbon living. You’ll turn technical, compliance and delivery detail into high-scoring, persuasive responses that speak clearly to client priorities and national policy direction.

You’ll take ownership of written content, work closely with technical and operational experts, and play a central role in winning public-sector retrofit tenders.

  • Bid Writing & Content Development
  • Produce clear, high-quality and fully compliant responses for domestic retrofit tenders.
  • Gather content from operational leads, retrofit assessors/designers, project managers, commercial teams and social value specialists.
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
  • Review content for compliance with PAS2035/2030, TrustMark and the proposed delivery model.
  • Capture lessons learned and support the continuous improvement of tools, templates and processes.

A minimum of 3 years experience writing scored responses for public-sector domestic retrofit tenders (e.g., WH:LG, Warm Homes: Social Housing/SHDF, ECO-flex, regional programmes).

APMP training or similar bid writing development.

Flexibility to travel to offices in Bury St Edmunds and Sutton when required.
