Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom. This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, which supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll take the lead in overseeing OEM Certification and managing internal Tests and Inspections, ensuring compliance with LOLER, PUWER, and the latest industry legislation.
- You’ll coordinate Transport and Haulage requests for Plant and Equipment deliveries to Site, making sure everything arrives on time and as needed.
- This role also involves handling general inquiries about Plant and Equipment Certifications, Test/Inspection statuses, and resolving any supply challenges that may arise.
- You’ll play a key part in driving the Plant & Equipment Request function, carefully acknowledging, recording, and processing each individual request, as well as raising Material Orders to meet inventory demands.
- Additionally, you’ll take charge of managing the PPE process, including maintaining accurate allocation records, ensuring that every team member has access to the equipment they need to stay safe and perform their best.
