Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

As our Site Manager you’ll be working on our clean water main renewal schemes for Thames Water within the Thames Valley region. Full-time, permanent role, 45 hours per week, company vehicle or van provided. Site-based with travel between schemes and occasional time in the regional office.

  • Plan and manage day-to-day delivery of water mains and services to programme and budget.
  • Lead the site team and subcontractors, setting clear expectations and dealing with issues early.
  • Take ownership for H&S, permits and streetworks compliance, RAMS and site audits.
  • Ensure quality of reinstatement, record keeping, as-builts and handover documents.
  • Liaise with residents, councils and Thames Water to keep them informed and resolve queries.
  • Report progress, risks and variations to the Project Manager.

What you’ll bring

Do you have utilities or water experience? NRSWA SSSTS/SMSTS (or willing to work towards), Strong H&S focus and good client/stakeholder skills. Full driving licence required. Salary depending on experience.
