Where will you be working?
M Group Highways is supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges - we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Civils projects team - we deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.
What will you be doing?
- You’ll supervise and manage construction works for the Project team, using your experience to suggest suitable construction methods.
- You’ll carry out all briefing and put operatives to work, ensuring the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
- You’ll build a good relationship with the client to meet their expectations.
- You’ll coach and mentor staff and operatives, supervising and putting to work site yardmen.
- Ensuring quality procedures and compliance and notifying the site team of issues on site and suggestions of how to overcome them.
- You’ll work with the Site Agent in monitoring HSEQ aspects of the project.
- You’ll keep a full diary of site activities and have input into the planning process reporting on progress to date and blockers and movers.
