At M Group Highways, we're supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. You'll be joining our Civils projects team - We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.
What will you be doing?
- You'll supervise and manage construction works for the Project team.
- Using your experience to suggest suitable construction methods.
- You'll carry out all briefing and putting operatives to work, ensuring the highest possible Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
- Build a good relationship with the client to meet their expectations.
- Coach and mentor staff and operatives, supervising and putting to work site yardmen.
- Ensuring quality procedures and compliance and notifying site team of issues on site and suggestions of how to overcome them.
- Work with the Site Agent in monitoring HSEQ aspects of the project.
- Keep a full diary of site activities and have input into planning process reporting on progress to date and blockers and movers.
