Where you’ll be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.
What you’ll be doing?
You’ll be working on our Thames Water Lot 3 contract as a Logging Technician. You’ll be part of the Network Operations Team covering London and the Thames Valley where you'll maintain Thames Water's fixed network fleet of loggers. You’ll be lifting and shifting loggers as needed along with deploying loggers in new DMAs and other areas as well as helping to trial new technology in the field. We'll need you to help the Supervisor manage stock and return loggers as well as completing all tasks using Salesforce Work Mobile and related system databases.
What you’ll bring?
- Proven experience working in clean water environments
- EUSR National Water Hygiene card
- Technical understanding of clean water networks and assets
- NRSWA trained, with at least Street Works Unit 2/SLG
- Full UK driving licence
Additional Information
You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground. You must be prepared to travel to various sites throughout the Thames Water Area. There is a Target Bonus Scheme when you achieve over the weekly requirement. 9hr working day allowing 30mins each way travelling to and from site. Site times are either 5am to 2pm or 6am to 3pm.
