Where will you be working? At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks. You will have worked in the field and know what it takes to keep things running smoothly. You will be part of a team that manages permits, notices and coordination across telecoms projects. You will need to hold NRSWA O1 and S1 qualifications. You will also need experience in telecoms or utilities. This is important because the work involves understanding how networks are built and maintained. The role is remote. You will work from home most of the time. You will also need to attend meetings in Nottingham. This is where our Streetworks team is based. These meetings help us stay aligned and solve problems together. You will be working with others who know the industry. You will be expected to understand the rules and help make sure we follow them. You will also help with planning and making sure work is done on time. If you are someone who has worked on the ground and wants to move into coordination, this could be the right step. You will be supported by a team that values your experience and wants to help you grow. What you’ll bring; You will have worked in the field and understand how Streetworks operate day to day. You will know what it means to manage permits, notices and coordination across live sites. You will be familiar with how telecoms or utilities projects are delivered and how they need to be planned and tracked. You will hold NRSWA O1 and S1 qualifications. These will help you understand the legal and safety requirements of the role. You will have used these in practice and know how they apply to real work on the ground. You will be confident working with teams who are out in the field. You will understand their challenges and be able to support them with clear and accurate information. You will also be able to speak with local authorities and other partners in a way that builds trust and keeps things moving. You will be organised and able to manage your time well. You will know how to keep records up to date and how to follow processes that help work stay on track. You will be used to working with systems and tools that help with planning and reporting. You will be someone who takes pride in doing things properly. You will care about getting the details right and making sure that work is safe, legal and well managed.
