At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. Private networks - We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.

You’ll apply fibre and networking expertise to deliver project completion across diverse customer sites including sub-stations, power plants, data centres, and control centres. You’ll ensure Health & Safety and company quality standards are upheld, conduct end-to-end circuit testing, and support installation and commissioning of telecoms equipment. Working with project engineers, you’ll help develop and follow safe deployment plans. You’ll escalate incidents to H&S and Ops Managers, assist with fault analysis, perform site surveys, and complete audits per schedule. You’ll oversee contractors on-site under RAMS, complete required training, and maintain tools, vehicles, and PPE. You’ll also identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest improvements where appropriate.

You’ll bring problem-solving skills and apply LAN & WAN internetworking (e.g., plugging Ethernet cables, pre-staged devices). Responsibilities include installation, glanding, termination, and testing of SWA power cables, Cat5/Cat6, Belden, fibre optic looms, and 50-pair copper. You’ll install and commission telecom equipment, PDH/SDH systems (Alcatel, Avara, Comtel, Nokia), configure routers, switches, muxes, FOX/ADVA/Eltek equipment, and perform industry-standard testing. Experience with fibre patching, substations, forced-air cooling, DC systems, and fault finding is essential. Strong customer communication is required.
