Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure. This role will be within our demand management and network infrastructure team. We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.
What will you be doing?
As our Supervisor you will be part of our Smart Metering Team who are responsible for the external installation of smart meter boxes, larger meter chambers and the repair of customer side leaks. You'll be managing dig teams, reinstatement teams and relevant support teams. You'll be collaborating with relevant departments such as: Planning, SHEQ, Surveying, Streetworks, Customer Call centre etc. You'll attend weekly progress meetings with the Senior Site Supervisor and Project Manager. Offer onsite coaching with regards to excavating, reinstatement in the Highway and use of cable avoidance equipment. You'll be required to carry out and present tool box talks and complete mandatory audits. Complete 10 minute briefs on new works. Coach and review video risk assessments and permits to break ground from the site teams. Promote a zero-incident environment via Golden Rules & CLAMP ON.
