Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We are problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our Developer services - our developer services team connects water and wastewater services, installs lateral drains, and enables new developments access to vital water and wastewater services.
What will you be doing?
As our Planning Coordinator you will have full accountability for planning work, raising notices and managing permits, including Street Works applications for Traffic Management. You will also be responsible for scheduling orders within client SLAs, ensuring efficient routing to reduce travel time and increase overall team productivity. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and validating onsite videos and system updates to maintain accuracy and compliance.
You will be required to use client systems effectively, ensuring all work is created, assigned and recorded within required timeframes. This includes managing operational workflows, maintaining accurate records and ensuring all activities meet contractual and regulatory expectations. Your attention to detail and ability to keep processes on track will be key to supporting smooth and compliant delivery. This role will be office based for the first 6 months and then hybrid working will apply.
