Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Clean Water Capital Delivery Team.Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

Want to be a part of it?

You’ll be driving the day to day activities on our mains renewal schemes. Rehab Inspector will be part of our Operations Team who are responsible for delivering mains renewal for United Utilities.

You\’ll be site based mostly north of Preston and may also be required to work on other site\’s in order to cover other Rehab inspectors if on holiday\’s.

Your Remit will be to ensure shut offs for the Dig Teams are planned and carried out safely, and flushing mains once in commission to ensure no Discoloured water is in the network.

We\’ll need you to be responsible for ensure the network is as per the drawings and plan shut offs in line with the Programme and you may be required to help with customer card warning.

Schemes you\’ll be working on will vary from, Open Cut, Directional Drill, Pipe Bursting and Slip lining.

What you’ll bring

  • Do you have proven knowledge and experience of the water industry and an understanding of the water networks?
  • Do you hold aWater SHEA or CSCS?
  • Do you hold a NRSWA accreditation?
  • Do you have a valid UK driving license?
  • Have you doneCalm Network training?
  • Are you someone who has the ability to work within a team or own you own?
