Where will you be working?

At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.

We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.

This role will be within our Electricity Transmission team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.

What will you be doing?

As a Traffic Management Supervisor, you’ll be working on our OHL contract in Scotland, responsibleforday-to-day Planning & Implementation of Traffic Management on the project.

Are you an accurate & efficient individual? You’ll report to the Traffic Management Manager and work closely with the Project & Site Manager for all commercial and operational issues:

  • Promote Health & Safety throughout all M Group Transmission Projects
  • Contribute experience, knowledge and TM support to the supply chain functions and the appointment of Subcontractors
  • Liaise With the Highway Authority/Local Councils and all Major Stakeholders on Project to obtain the relevant permissions
  • Ensure timely programming and change notifications are communicated to support other internal departments
  • Management of Local authority permits and applications via the relevant application system

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to communicate with and support cross-departmental initiatives to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to challenge the norm and drive innovation into all that we do
  • Ability to develop budgets and forecasts, plan and program resources and activities and implement KPIs across numerous projects
  • Ability to demonstrate effective prioritisation, time management and workload planning skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of UK Traffic Management and Health & Safety legislation
  • Recognised traffic management qualification(s) e.g. LANTRA (12, A, B & D)
  • Proficient Microsoft Software Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • UK Driving License - happy to travel / stay away when required
