Where will you be working?

We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Carry out and record daily vehicle checks, and be competent in loading and unloading all aspects of T.M. onto vehicles, ensuring all vehicles are sufficiently and safely secured.
  • Carry out and complete site-specific risk assessments, amend when necessary, and be able to think on your feet and adjust sites accordingly when required.
  • Use a stop/go system of work, install, run up, set timings, maintain and dismantle all types of temporary traffic lights including two-way and multi-phase.
  • Set out, maintain and remove lane closures and diversions, and take photographs of site setup and dismantling.
  • Read, understand, and follow CAD drawings.

  • Minimum qualification: NRSWA unit 2 signing, lighting, and guarding.
  • Lantra accreditation M1, M2, M3, M5, M6 is preferred.
  • Thorough understanding of the Safety at Street Works and Road Works, A code of practice document.
