Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Employee Relations (ER) Advisor to join our ER team as additional support. This role is pivotal in managing a range of employee relations cases, from basic to potentially more complex issues, depending on experience.

What will you be doing?
Are you an Employee Relations (ER) Specialist who thrives on making a positive impact? In this role, you\’ll manage a wide range of ER cases, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance management, and more, conducting thorough investigations to resolve issues promptly and in line with company policies and employment law.
You\’ll collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to analyse ER trends and provide proactive insights, while assisting in training sessions to empower line managers and employees.
With a strong focus on customer service, you\’ll offer clear, accurate advice, fostering trust and building relationships across the organization. Staying ahead of changes in employment law, you\’ll ensure compliance and continually seek opportunities to enhance our ER practices.

What you’ll bring
- Experience in ER/HR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with HRBPs and other stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex ER issues
- High level of organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using HR systems and maintaining accurate records
