Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom. This role is in our Procurement department, our Procurement team source, purchase and manage our products and services to ensure the right quality and delivery.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll take ownership of property searches, engage with agents and landlords, and oversee the management and negotiation of commercial lease agreements across all Group divisions. Managing all leases will be key, including gathering and collating documents such as schedules of condition, dilapidations, and O&M manuals into the Group’s software system. A core part of the role involves supporting the development and implementation of property and maintenance processes that align with the Group Property & Facilities team’s objectives, while also helping minimise business risk through accurate management of property software and FM contractual details. You’ll contribute to budget setting and control for commercial properties, maintain effective system processes across business divisions for compliance, and assist with the opening, closing, refurbishment, and fit‑out of operational sites. Additionally, you’ll support lifecycle replacement programmes and play an active part in driving continuous improvements within property and facilities management.
