Where will you be working?

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
You’ll join an environmental team of 26 people, looking after carbon ambitions and implementing the Environmental Management System. This is part of the central environment team tasks and maintenance.
We’ll need you to develop and monitor environmental, carbon, biodiversity and waste management plans.
You’ll meet with clients and regulators for legal consents, keeping compliant with environmental licenses.
Create & support teams with reports, sustainable practices & training. Lead investigations, conduct audits of projects and supply chains.
What You’ll Bring
- Valid UK driving license – do you have one?
- Degree level in appropriate environmental discipline or relevant qualifications
- Environmental experience in Highways or similar sector
- Able to manage KPIs and be self sufficient to a point
