Where will you be working? At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges- we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team in Cambridgeshire, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing? You’ll take on a key role in our Dragon Patching Operations Team. You’ll complete a high level of manual work and be outdoors in all weathers. You’ll undertake highways repairs, including potholes, patching, drainage, footways, and general highway maintenance. You’ll use technology (tablets/apps) to input safety data and maintenance records. You’ll be driving and operating plant and equipment when trained. You will take responsibility for vehicles, plant, materials and daily maintenance of the dragon patcher. We’ll train you to undertake winter and emergency maintenance out-of-hours activities on a standby rota.

What you’ll bring: A clean driving license. An LGV Class C driving license or willingness to obtain one. A CSCS card.
