Where will you be working?
At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK. We don’t just build roads and bridges- we’re building a better future, creating lasting social value that gives back to the communities in which we work. You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing?
You’ll be responsible for works on the Highway network in Devon and will provide Traffic Management to support. You’ll also:
- Promote health and safety culture- it’s at the heart of everything we do!
- Be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance works set by the Agent
- Carry out emergency call out as directed
- Make sure all traffic management is set up in accordance with the ACOP
- Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management (deploying cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on low-speed roads)
- Undertaking traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
- Maintenance of temporary traffic lights

What you’ll bring
- Clean driving License

- Ability to carry out manual work outdoors, in all weather conditions
- Qualified up to 12D M6 highly desirable
- T1 / T2 qualified
