Where will you be working? At M Group Energy, were enabling the energy essential to support our lives. We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation. This role will be within our?Metering team.?Youll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? As aMaintenanceEngineer, you\’ll be visiting various properties throughout the day, working on Smart Meters in both homes and businesses. Do you enjoy helping people and making their lives easier? You\’ll be using a handheld device to complete your tasks, and once done, you\’ll update all the details on your tablet, keeping records for new and existing customers up to date. Here\’s a glimpse of what you\’ll be doing: reconnecting Gas and Electric Smart Meters, changing SIM cards, modems, and small gain aerials, re-joining smart devices to the network while in contact with energy companies and exchanging batteries on gas meters.
