Job Description
Gourley Veterinary Surgeons are looking for a Small Animal Vet to join the team. Salary up to £65k D.O.E
We are a first opinion, 2 site, well established TP, RCVS Accredited small animal practice, based in and around Tameside and Manchester, with a passion and dedication to providing the highest quality of care.
The long established main site, in Ashton-Under-Lyne, is in an excellent location and has a tram, bus and train station within easy walking distance. The practice has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment! You will only be 5 minutes away from a beautiful Country park and close to the foothills of the stunning Peak District National Park, which is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. If you prefer a little more hustle and bustle, Manchester city centre is only 10 minutes away by train, or 20 minutes by car. Manchester International airport is only a 20-minute drive away too! Our newly opened second, fully operational site is based in Denton, Manchester, also having great commuter routes for buses and the motorway.
You will be joining an experienced and dedicated team of Vets, which includes 2 certificate holders in Small Animal Surgery. You will be fully supported by a large, friendly and experienced Nursing and clinical support team.
This position would suit someone who is capable and confident of working sole charge, with surgical experience in routine procedures, and who possesses good communication skills. You will have a team player mentality and a passion to deliver excellent care and client service. We can consider applications from recently graduated vets, as there will be support available.
Full or part-time hours considered, with a requirement to work 1 in 5 Saturdays, but no out of hours or on-call.
Salary up to £65k pro rata, dependant on experience.
