Summary of the role:
In this role as a Sales Engineer, you work with account executives to build and demonstrate impactful solutions for customers\’ information management challenges. You are excited about digital transformation and have a huge desire to help customers to digitize their processes. This position reports to the UK Sales Engineering team.
What you will be doing/Responsibilities and Duties:
- Discover the pain in customers\’ current processes and quantify the business impact of the M-Files solution together with account executives.
- Script, configure and deliver value-driven product demos to prospects.
- Manage proof-of-concept (POC) processes.
Technical Consultation:
- Understand customers\’ issues thoroughly and suggest solutions based on industry best practices by leveraging M-Files platforms\’ differentiated capabilities.
- Address technical objections or questions raised by prospects.
- Assist developers with initial integrations and third-party solutions.
- Manage RFx processes leveraging existing Q&A databases and develop the knowledge base with your team members.
Relationship Building:
- Build strong relationships with account executives and customers by understanding customer needs and the impact of the solutions, and by earning the trusted advisor status by offering impactful solution descriptions and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with internal teams (engineering, product, and support) to relay feedback from the field and to stay updated on current and future capabilities of the product.
Who you are/Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in enterprise content management and workflow automation is considered as an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work and solve issues independently under sometimes challenging deadlines.
- Experience and expertise in industry verticals such as Services, Manufacturing, or Energy is considered as an advantage.
