We are looking for a Manager, User Guidance and Learning to further strengthen our Global Support team.
What you will be doing:
As the Manager, User Guidance and Learning, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for digital learning experiences, customer-facing documentation, and UX writing. You will drive the future of our learning ecosystem, ensure content quality across platforms, and support product adoption through modern, scalable, and user-centric content.
Your responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Learning Specialists and Technical Writers, setting clear vision, priorities, and sustainable ways of working.
- Drive the evolution of our customer learning function by shaping strategy, frameworks, and scalable digital learning experiences.
- Ensure seamless integration between LMS content, product information and guidance, and in-app guidance to support learning in the flow of work.
- Oversee LMS (M-Files Academy) operations, content lifecycle management, and quality of learning experiences.
- Own the strategy, quality, and consistency of all customer-facing documentation and UX writing.
- Act as product owner for M-Files Empower, leading cross-team collaboration and driving its development toward a more personalized and AI-powered experience.
- Ensure that all guidance and learning assets are planned, created, and delivered in sync with product release and launch schedules.
- Enable other teams to create high-quality content through tools, training, and collaboration models.
- Influence cross-functional initiatives and represent User Guidance and Learning across Product, Support, Marketing, and Customer Success.
Requirements:
What we expect from you:
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary content, learning, or documentation teams.
- Ability to align content strategy with business goals and product priorities.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- A user-centric mindset with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive guidance and learning experiences.
- Strong skills in learning experience design, instructional design, or digital learning development.
- Solid understanding of technical communication and UX writing principles.
- Skilled in project and program management, including cross-team collaboration and roadmap execution.
- Experience with content governance, process development, and scalable workflows.
In addition, these are an advantage:
- Experience with AI-assisted content development, prompt engineering, or AI-governed workflows.
- Experience with digital learning or documentation ecosystems (LMS platforms, structured authoring with DITA, information architecture).
- Experience with customer documentation portals or self-service platforms.
- Background in shaping content experiences for complex products.
- Familiarity with tools used by the team, such as Atlassian products, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, Oxygen XML, Git, Figma.
The User Guidance and Learning team is located in Finland (Tampere and Helsinki), but you can work from any M-Files location in Europe — including the UK, Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, or Norway.
