A luxury interior design studio based in West London is looking for an experienced designer to join their team.
Skill sets
- Experience working on high-end design projects, including costing, overseeing quotes and installations.
- Relevant design industry experience of at least three years.
- Competent in the following programmes: Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and Esti.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good eye for detail and ability to produce material and fabric schemes.
- Experience liaising with suppliers and consultants, ideally some client contact as well.
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of financial aspects of an interior design project is desirable.
Requirements
- To help design bespoke FF&E as well as sourcing off-the-shelf items and selecting antiques.
- Co-ordination of suppliers, placing orders, processing samples and processing invoices.
- Working with the project design team to produce the required drawings; elevations, RCP’s, Tender Packages and Joinery etc.
- Attend project meetings and take minutes.
- Able to artistically render elevations and floor plans for client presentations.
