Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker our Supported Living Service in Merthyr and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults.

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical care in our supported living services in Merthyr.

No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us.

We are recruiting for immediate and September / October start dates

Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
  • Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
