Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Care Assistant in our service in SA44 6HS and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Care Assistant in our Residential service in Plwmp near Llandysul, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
  • Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
  • Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.
