Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in our specialist residential service, near Crosshands and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. [THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE WORKING NIGHTS]. Join our Specialist Services team means working with some of the most complex individuals we support. Previous experience in a similar setting and a proactive approach whilst following specific plans are highly valued.

M&D Care are an established family-oriented business, which is run by a passionate team of professionals who deliver specialist, complex and bespoke care services throughout Southwest Wales for people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health needs. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
  • Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
  • Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
  • Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.
  • Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Additional Information:

  • Previous experience for this role would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given

  • Must be aged 18 or over
