Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Cook in our residential service, and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and the quality of their environment. At M&D Care, we support individuals with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental conditions across South and West Wales.
As Cook, you'll work a rota which includes weekends and weekdays (9am-5pm). You will plan and prepare nutritious meals, including special diets, ensuring residents' individual needs and preferences are met. You'll maintain high standards of food hygiene, health and safety, and infection control.
Responsibilities include:
- Menu planning
- Stock ordering
- Budget management
- Kitchen cleanliness
You’ll collaborate with support staff to align meals with care plans and engage with residents to promote enjoyable, healthy eating experiences.
