As Specialist Support Care Manager, you will help lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional, person-centred care to vulnerable adults. You will be a passionate and experienced professional with a background in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, Autism, and challenging behaviours. Strong digital skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, and excellent relationship-building abilities are essential. You will lead and support staff to deliver person-centred care, work collaboratively with families and professionals, and demonstrate integrity and commitment to helping individuals live fulfilled, independent lives.
Role and Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager and lead operations in their absence
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care for adults with complex needs
- Guide and develop staff through supervision, training, and mentoring
- Collaborate with specialist teams and external professionals
- Maintain accurate care records and uphold regulatory standards
- Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through tailored support

Experience
You will need to have a QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards), with solid experience in the care sector and regulatory standards. Strong leadership, digital, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and committed to delivering person-centred care. You will also have experience of working closely with the Registered Manager and specialist teams to oversee staff development, maintain care standards, and manage operations in the Manager's absence.
