As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to take ownership of our quality function, lead our talented quality team and drive continuous improvement across the business. About M-CNC: M-CNC has built a reputation for delivering complex precision machined components to exacting standards. Combining advanced CNC machining technology with a highly skilled workforce, we support customers where quality, consistency and reliability are critical to success.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be responsible for leading the quality strategy across the business, ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organisation. You'll be the key point of contact for customers on all quality-related matters, managing audits, non-conformances, supplier quality performance and the ongoing development of our Quality Management System.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll have genuine influence on operational performance, customer satisfaction and business growth.

  • Leading, developing and mentoring the Quality Team
  • Maintaining and enhancing the AS9100 Quality Management System
  • Driving root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Monitoring quality KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Supporting supplier development and quality performance
  • Acting as the primary customer contact for quality concerns
  • Advising on metrology, measurement techniques and inspection best practice
  • Working closely with leadership to reduce risk and improve operational performance

Proven experience as a Quality Manager within a precision engineering or machining environment:

  • Background in aerospace, defence, automotive, motorsport, medical devices or similarly regulated manufacturing sectors
  • Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving capability
  • Experience managing quality teams and developing people
  • Strong understanding of metrology and inspection processes
  • Commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset
  • NEBOSH qualification
  • Experience programming and using CMM equipment
  • Experience completing AS9102 First Article Inspections, PPAP and ISIR documentation
