We are seeking a Physical Security System Administrator 1 to join our Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. As part of the SES Strategic Business Unit, you will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services inclusive of intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense and command and control systems for federal, local and commercial customers across high‑growth markets.
What you’ll do:
- Provide assistance to end users in accessing and using client Physical Security systems (CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, etc.).
- Answer help‑desk phone calls; triage initial phone calls providing support and determine when escalation is required.
- Utilize a technology‑based problem tracking system (ticketing system) to document help‑desk calls, troubleshoot steps prior to completing the ticket or escalating to the next level of support.
- Support daily operations to include monitoring and reviewing system logs.
- Perform root cause analysis on significant issues at the appropriate level of support.
- Implementation and maintenance of updates and enhancements of Security Video Management System, Security Key Management System, Security Access Control System, Inventory Management System, Visitor Management System and other systems.
- Program software for new and existing Physical Security Systems.
- Update Security System configurations as required by project.
- Deploy firmware and software updates to the Security Systems as required by project.
- Update System Programming Standards (Naming Convention, Configurations, etc.) as required by project.
- Troubleshoot and audit physical security systems as they relate to access, monitoring, video, or other related issues.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot clearance and physical access issues for various spaces or buildings.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot credentials and badges for client employees.
- Be available to work various shifts such as days, swings, and graveyard.
- Be available to work holidays and weekends as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.

- BS degree and 1+ years of progressive experience OR HS Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of progressive experience.
- System administrator experience performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.
- Demonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Basic knowledge of large‑scale networking, VLANs and routing.
- Reliable attendance at customer site during required work hours.
- 1+ years of troubleshooting physical security systems in an enterprise environment, including access control, key box management, and video surveillance systems.
- 1+ years of experience in deploying or auditing physical security systems such as new site programming, new hardware additions, and validating correct system programming for building objects.
- 1+ years of experience working on IT‑related systems such as servers, workstations, and network switches.
