Position Summary
Application Specialists are key members of the global technology team responsible for building and maintaining enterprise technology application systems.
Location: London, UK. Kings Cross
Essential Responsibilities and Activities Include but are Not Limited to:
- Programming various technology application systems by adding devices and configuring for operation.
- Providing system support to the Integrators/LSPs in the field during deployment.
- Commissioning/testing support at the software level for the field teams.
- Monitoring operational systems for errors and alerts.
- Troubleshoot various technologies related to PSIM, access control, video, and building management systems.
- Document daily functions and troubleshooting process to create and revise playbooks.
- Contributing to a regional and global Metrics program.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience programming PSIM systems, specifically Sure View Systems’ (SVS) Response.
- Experience programming access control systems, specifically Software House CCure 9000.
- Experience programming video management systems, specifically Genetec.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, standard UK working hours. Occasional out of hours required to work with other global teams (APAC & California). Required time in the office 5 days/week for first 90 days / during probation period. 4 days in office pending probation completion. Moving to 3 days in office during H2 2025. Willing to travel outside of UK.

Key Requirements:
- Education: BS degree and 0+ Years of progressive experience or HS Diploma or Equivalent and 6+ Years of progressive experience.
- Requires some system administrator experience in performing triage on system problems, resolving system problems, analyzing system data to prevent problems, implementing new workstations, and system extensions.
- Demonstrated understanding of Windows patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Basic knowledge of large-scale networking, VLANS and routing.
- Requires reliable attendance at customer site during work hours required by customer.
- Requires the ability to work flexible shifts that include nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Requires minimum of IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Able to use MS Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
