We are currently recruiting for a Hotel Receptionist to join our Team at voco Lythe Hill. Voco Lythe Hill is an historic Country House Hotel, set in 20 acres of woodland on the slopes of the Surrey/Sussex Hills and located on the outskirts of the market town of Haslemere. Voco Lythe Hill offers luxury accommodation, Spa, Gym, Restaurant and private dining rooms and is a popular venue for weddings and events.
The ideal candidate will offer a high standard of customer service, be passionate about exceeding our customer’s needs, and work well in a small team. Candidates should be smart and well presented, with an attentive manner.
- To have a good knowledge and understanding of all hotel facilities and outlets.
- To maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- To ensure smooth check-in and check-out of guests.
- To ensure all reservations for accommodation and restaurants are dealt with in a professional manner.
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Front of House system (training will be given).
- Prepare guest accounts accurately prior to departure.
- Responsible for the reception float and daily banking.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Smart personal presentation and polite and friendly manner.
- Great interpersonal skills with excellent standards of spoken English.
- Able to work early and late shifts and some weekends.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Be able to cope under pressure.
- To be polite, well dressed, clean and efficient at all times.
