Location: Lyric Theatre, Belfast
Hours: The standard working week is 43 hours (excluding breaks) over 6 days, Monday through Sunday.
Holidays: 24 days discretionary plus bank/public holidays.

Essential Criteria- A minimum of 3 years professional experience in technical theatre, live performance, venue technical operations or a similar environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of technical theatre operations, with credible experience across stage, lighting, sound, video, rigging, flying or other relevant production systems.
- Experience supervising, coordinating or managing technical staff, casual crew, freelancers or production teams.
- The ability to lead, motivate and develop technicians with varying levels of experience.
- Experience planning and delivering technical activity, including fit-ups, technical rehearsals, performances, get-outs, visiting company activity or events.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety in a technical, production or venue environment.
- Understanding of relevant technical and safety requirements, including working at height, manual handling, electrical safety, LOLER, PUWER and COSHH.
- Experience managing budgets, purchases, hires, stock, equipment or other operational resources.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including the ability to manage rotas, records, deadlines and competing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, contractors, visiting companies, creative teams and other stakeholders.
- IT literate, with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent systems.
- Fitness and stamina to fulfil the requirements of the role, including the ability to work at height where required.
- Experience working in a producing theatre or multi-space venue.
- Experience managing or supporting visiting companies, hires, events or external users.
- Experience coordinating contractors or day-to-day facilities activity within a venue, theatre, arts, education or public-facing building.
- Relevant health and safety qualification, such as IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH, ABTT training or equivalent.
- Knowledge of industry guidance and good practice, including the ABTT Yellow Book, Theatre Green Book or similar.
- Experience of counterweight flying systems, rigging, lifting operations or working at height.
- Experience using ETC EOS family software, QLab or other relevant lighting, sound, video or show-control systems.
- CAD skills, such as AutoCAD, Vectorworks or equivalent.
- First aid training.
- Full clean driving licence.
