TCS Engineer

Service area: Hertfordshire and surrounding areas

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday-Friday, 36.25hrs per week

TCS Engineer is responsible for installations, service and maintenance of dispensing and dosing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, maintain and repair dispensing and dosing equipment such as dishwashers, laundry dosing units, water and non‑water fed chemical dispensing units, and enzyme dosing units.
  • Unpack and assemble equipment, service and maintain dispensing and dosing equipment on behalf of our clients.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to verify that the equipment operates in accordance with its design specification and current regulations.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve faults, and organise repairs as required.
  • Raise and submit quotes for parts to be ordered, ensuring all part numbers align with technical manuals or product specifications and confirming receipt of parts.
  • Return warranty parts to the supplier; return unutilised parts to store upon conclusion of the visit.
  • Complete electronic job sheets upon conclusion of the site visit.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Technical Customer Services Team.
  • Maintain and check van stock.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • IT literate (MS Office).
  • Competent working with electrical systems, including reading diagrams, and competent in basic plumbing.
  • 2–5 years of engineering experience in dispensing or dosing equipment or similar (highly desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Continuous development of product knowledge.

  • Organised.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Forward thinking and agile under extreme circumstances.
  • Approachable.
