We are recruiting for a Full time MHE Operator within the distribution centre at our Head Office in Telford.
Candidate ideally would have previous warehouse experience or knowledge, ideally live within the local area but not essential. Candidate ideally must have own transportation due to the working hours but again not essential. This is primarily an MHE position, but some manual handling is involved in the role. Full training will be given and more MHE training (Narrow aisle Reach truck MHE) is available.
The Warehouse Operative (MHE Operator) role includes:
- Accurate stock picking from ankle height to head height
- Achievement of daily accuracy and process targets
- Identify ‘defect’ products and place for ‘quarantine’
- Care and control of equipment
- Operation of Rider Pallet Trucks for more than 50% of working time
The ideal Warehouse Operative (MHE Operator) will:
- Must hold a Rider Pallet Truck Licence
- Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Be able to work at pace
- Be team orientated
- Be able to communicate well
- Be able to pick customer orders accurately and stay within tolerance
- MHE A2 PPT certificate is required, with experience
